Starter solenoid help

Hello All,
I am in the middle of trying to service me starter, but have run into a bit of a problem....
I have removed the Solenoid and remove the spring and the solenoid lever arm, They are covered in dirt my question is what do I clean it with and also does it need to be greased ?????

I have cleaned and greased the armature,starter pinion and bushes, I used moly grease which I was told is silicone based.

ring 086 2530027 Chris Smith. He is a biker and an auto electrician who re builds starters etc. He used to be in Swords. Nice guy and should be able to help you. tell him I sent you and he will call me an old boll***s Did you do the rospa test ?

Thanks for that Luke, Ive got it fixed I think....
As for the Rospa I am in the middle of training for it at the moment are you going on the run out on Sunday ???
