starting problem gs1100

hi folks I don;t know if any one can help, my gs only some times does not start
when i hear fuel pump prime i know she will start ,but every now then it does not prime up and will not fire up ,any thoughts thanks fenman

Check your sidestand switch.

If in doubt,short it out ( to coin a phrase )
