Ok I need a sulution here, not into draging a notebook around through Europe for two months so how good is something like one of the newer smartphone type PDA's. Was looking at maybe getting a HP Ipaq that would have a internet browser and have WiFi. I want to be able to check my hotmail account and use it as a mobile phone(bluetooth) facility. I have no interest in going to any internet shops while traveling or use the computer for guests that most hotels in Europe have to check their email accounts. Any ideas or alternatives to the Hp series would be appreciated......

Cheers Adrian

Have you considered an O2 XDA? They get some very good write-ups, and anyone I know who uses one is very happy..... and that includes a couple of hundred of a customers staff who were issued them.

Blackberry - for true instant connectivity - or most decent hotels have net access for a small laptop.

I'm in india in a hotel on wifi typing this in bed :)

Blackberry is very good, but to be able to utilise it to its maximum, you would want to run it in conjunction with a corporate mail server, we've got the Blackberries set up to work with our office system, and it really is very good, and reliable.
