Nope.
How many is that you've had? You change your bike more often than I change my socks Johnny.
Still think you should go back to Marrakesh RED, if you don't I might.

I hope you change your socks more regularly Tim...............it's only GS No. 5 .............in 8 years.

Life's too short and if you think I'm bad.........you should check out Nick Marshall's bike buying record !!!!!

I'll maybe also get a nice 'Airhead' GS ..........when I see the right one or Gauloises sells his 80GS Monolever PD

it was only 6 months or so ago you uuuumd and aaaaaaahd about the bike you've just bought ?

made the wrong decision then ?

or just too much money and a bit bored --again ???

I will guarantee -within 18 months you'll be doing the same thing and going for a 1200 - even though you've made the right decision this time - ( ho hum )

Thanks Phil........for your pyschiatrist's analysis.

The Sunny Yellow GS1150 was a mistake because of the awful Servo brakes (have you tried them), but so would the GSA have been in March 2004. If I liked them I wouldn't be changing.......rest of the bike is fine

However by opting to go 'plain & simple' this time, there's more chance of being correct this time around (having had no ABS GS's in past)

My replacement policy is change every 2 years (with the exception of the Sunny Yellow GS)..........to keep up with warranty period and minimise the cost to change, that's my view but we're all different........

Some people buy private.........some people buy new........you only live once.........so do what you want.

If i go for a 1200 in 2 yrs.............so be it.........at least BMW will have ironed the bike out by then

Saw your fax enquiring about the GS on Shaun's desk when I was there, first Tuesday into the New Year. Don't know how I kept quiet for so long.

We appear to be following simular trails in that we both bought an 1150 from Rainbow at about the same time (your beautiful red one) and now as you order an ADV I pick up a 12 tomorrow...sold the Yamaha FJR1300, but still keeping the 'old' 1150. Part of the family now!

Servo Option??

Maybe I'm wrong here but I thought they all had servos now & that the only option was ABS or not
