I've bought a Magnum after reading posts on this list saying it is a direct replacement for the pathetic OEM one. I thought this would be perfect as I'm a mechanical moron. :nenau

When I tried to fit it yesterday I couldn't find how to remove the original. I've searched threads on this site and can't find any instructions.

Can someone take pity and let me know how I do this?

Unplug the standard horn, unbolt the standard horn and remove.

Cut off the standard plug, leaving enough wire to re-connect if required.

Crimp and/or solder on the spade connectors supplied with the Stebel horn.

Position new horn and fix using the bracket. Make sure that the horn will not foul the forks or brake lines taking into account fork travel and steering. Position the 'trumpet' either sideways or down so that it is self draining.

Then enjoy frightening pedestrians!!!

Good luck.

That's the problem where do I unbolt the original? I can't see anything. Do I need to remove the tank?
