No, not the usual, 'How can i make it fit' question.
I bought two of these, one works fine and the the other not at all. i returned it to NN who (very quickly) replaced it, but the new one doesn't work either.
Am I just unlucky, or is there a consistent quality problem?

Mine worked fine for about a year then started making weak parping noises and then gave up the ghost altogether, and I couldn't get it to work at all - replaced with the smaller Stebel horn - not as loud but adamn sight easier to fit!

When I fitted mine, I found that it did matter what way round the connections were. Despite a post on here to the contrary:spitfire. try changing polarity and see if it makes a difference:beerjug:

Its the right way round for sure and connected directly to the battery - no relay, no switches.

Stolzy, check your fuses. When I fitted mine it blew the fuse in the fusebox straight away. I replaced it with a 10amp and it's been fine ever since...:thumb

Horn

Put short lengths of wire on the horn and connect it to the battery and see if it works, if it does try using thicker wire as these take a high current if the wires too small it cuts down the current available and no work properly,

That's exactly what I did - no fuses, just connected directly to the battery - nothing. I checked the voltage in the cable (13V).
This is exactly the same as the last Stebel horn I had (and returned to NN) - guess I must be unlucky, or their QC is dodgy

Unlucky I'd say.

My first Nautilus lasted four years and about 27K miles. It only went tits-up when it got filled with fesh-fesh!

Second one still going strong and at about £25 a go, I can live with that sort of reliability.
