hi Jahwan, see your post i will take some pics tomorrow and send them.
of course you can run the stock bar, but as far as what works best for you and your bike is something that you have to determine. I found that there is many different ways to ride (style) so copying someones riding style may not work for you. I don't know your height but a good starting point is to study a compatent rider that has your same body size because your statement about being 3 heads taller makes a big difference in the bias of the motorcycle. For me personally I like a 99mm Carmichel bend bar in a standard off road bike clamp. The GPR raises the bars 26mm and that is alot. Thats why i use the ProTaper 74mm Carmichel bend, this is close to my preferred ergonomics. On a side note i just came back from taking lessons from a MX coach here in the USA, Gary Bailey. and he had me working on Legs straight with knees behind pegs, seemed odd at first but did work well. You have to try for yourself. If we all set our bikes up like Ricky Carmichel as great as he is.... we would all be really uncomfortable. It has taken alot of set up on the BMW but now that i got it dialed in (for me) I can ride it with the same form as my 09 Honda crf450r. hope this helps... will get those pics out!
