I changed the steering head bearings on my R80/7 a few months back.
Since then I've had to tighten them up on 3 occasions as the front has gone a bit floppy. Has anyone got any (preferably sensible) comments?
I'm certain they were fully seated and correctly adjusted when installed, they just seem to loosen off.
Strangely I had an R100R about 10 years ago and the head bearings kept needing tightening on that too, though I'd never got as far as replacing them. I've never had this with any other bike. Maybe its just an airhead thang....
