Just come back from my holls and need to sort my bike.... I have a very bad wobble on the front end when slowing down, Does it around about 40mph.. Notice a bit of pulsing through the brake leaver also..
Could this be down to a warped disc or do you think the wheel is out of balance:nenau...Had it very slightly before i changed the tyre but its slowly got worse...
Any ideas guys please??
Thanks R.B

Oh ye, its a gsa with spoked rims:thumb

Hi had the same thing last year. Bike was loaded up and two up. When we got back from the trip it still did it. Anyway changed from Tourances to PR3s but also took my spot tracker of the left hand side of the handle bars. Shake is no gone but not sure whether it was the extra weight on one side of the bars doing it. With the front wheel of the ground the steering would turn to the left with the spot mounted on the left side of the bars. Tyre wise that had been the third Tourance that I had on the bike and it only started about 2000 klms into the trip.

Known issue....

Contact continental via the UK importer, tell them what problem the tyre shows, they will ask for it back and send you a new one..

It's a known quality issue that they have had on front trail attacks for a while..

I sent two back via busters last year and got them replaced.

Roger.

The Conti guy at Garmisch last year knew of the 'issue' and told me they were fitting W? rated tyres on German bikes and had not had any further problems. Back in the UK a guy from Cambrian Tyres (Conti Importers) claimed he'd never heard of it :augie

My tyre is wankered and due for replacement very soon anyone so I'm not bothered :D
