Just received an email from Stephan, the guy who made the case savers and bashplates.
He has now finished the final prototype for the KTM front mudguard, costing around 98 euros.
Sure that everyone who has bought from him in the past recognises the quality of his work.....so you know what to expect.

As before you can contact Stephan at [email protected] or visit his website www.scheffelmeier-metall.de

looks good, does it not need cutouts in the rear section for air to pass to the rad ? saw a post on the Advrider site about this and it seems the air is required.

Nice! It actually looks like it is meant to be there, rather than having a big ugly gap.

Personally I don't think the cutouts are a good idea. I spent over 2 hours the other day trying to clean the muck out of my radiator as it was completely clogged and it still needs more work. I think I am going to have to take it off and soak it overnight to soften the muck so it washes out, probably with the help of a thin piece of wire between every set of fins. Cut outs are fine somewhere hot and dry but we have too much muck here.

If you decide to order from him I'm sure that he won't mind if you ask him to put some holes in the rear section of the fender.
I have no link to Stephan other than I bought a sump guard from him, was impressed with the quality and sent him an email asking him to make a front mudguard bracket.

Sounds good to me, if there is a group buy i will take one, will be away for ten days from tonight but will check the thread on my return:thumb
