Steptoe adds the final touches to my 1200GS

It's official, granite grey is the new black. This afternoon, Steptoe kindly fitted the H&B engine bars, beak, TT handguards and Reyno grill to my recently arrived 1200GS to add the final touches. Many thx Neil, cracking job! :thumb

I'm off to knock up 600miles for the first service back at Vines on Friday. See you on the road.

Don't you own a toolkit then Jeremy ?

If everyone had the time / inclination / expertise to do their own work, Steppers and many others wouldn't have any work...

I'd have gladly fitted them for him as a favour if he was in my area, so Stepppers and others could concentrate on the jobs DIY mechanics weren't able to tackle.

The bike looks great Jeremy, have fun on it.

Thx for all the comments chaps! Yes the beak is the TT one but ordered via Nippy Norman. Yes I own a tool kit but I'd rather have a pro like Neil do it, besides his tool is bigger than mine.

I've just got back from 500miles around Exmoor and Devon, will post the pics later tonight.

PS she was "christened" in the river @ Tarr Steps this afternoon (as were my feet)
