Its not for a GS or an 1150, but I know you will look in this section.
Grinnal clutch, box/engine from k1100lt. Thought I'd take a wee look at the clutch because changes are a bit grunchy.
Found this plate in it. Think its ceramic or something. Does anybody know the make. I thought TT ones had 4 pads.
The pressure plate is spaced out with washers , about 1 mm thick.
Anyhoo, a few pics. One of the springy strip things was broken off and had been flying around the bellhousing. No damage, just scraped a bit
Pads are 7.6mm at the unworn bit and 7mm at worn bits, but mighty close to the rivets, about 1mm on one side, a tad less on the other.
Do you think I should bung it back in again ?
If you look at the pic with the pressure plate you can see the broke bit. What effect do you think this would have had ?
Thanks for looking and for any replies.

Mark used a KRS clutch as standard in his builds,
