Steptoes Moroccan Dash 2

I was down the same time as you were last year and kept missing you.
I leave for Morocco on the 25th March and return on the 10th April.
I could not keep up with you chap's as I'm doing it this year on the XR400
But maybe this year I will get chance to meet you all and have a drink

Have a good One.:beerjug:

Dazzer.

I have booked the week commencing the 24th and would love to join you if that is the week you go - I can't do the week of the 31st.

I shall await the final verdict!

The die has been cast -

Depart Saturday 31st March, return Monday April 9th ( easter monday).

So the folks who need to book work time only use 4 days holiday, for a 10 day trip :thumb

You can get back on the sunday if need be. Novice and Wapping both made it back on the sunday last year, while rest of us came back via the Millau Bridge

Going Achill, can't do every ireland event.

Also a hard choice, cross 3 countries and another continent for 9 days with desert and mountains, or 3-4 days in the wet :D

Hi Steptoe.
Are you going to post your route,I will then try to meet up with you all one night for a few beers,if that's OK.

I have a rough idea of the route - but doing the same as last year. Take it as it comes. I can't give a day right now where we'd be in a particular place.

Don't know how many people are coming, what the weather will be like, and how long it'll take to go across France, Spain. We stop at times, not destinations :D

The "Go do one" on the run tour plans =

I do plan my tours -

I leave home, and get to my destination. Thats a plan isn't it ?

What happens inbetween is all the fun. If it's great weather and you're in the groove, ride till you want to stop.

if it's crap weather take it easy, and you'll be glad you rode further when the weather was nice.

Take each day as it comes, don't set yourself a target. if you miss it, you'll be chasing yourself to catch up, or you'll have to change the "plans".

If the road looks better elsewhere, go down it, and find out.

The biggest bonus - No plans = nothing can go wrong

No plans doesn't mean you're not organised. Big difference :thumb

Spot on - I much prefer having nothing planned other than an idea and a ferry that way your'e not tied to a particular destination and can chill more;)
