Right listen up.

Apart from all the usual things that you know you need to bring with you -

Add a pen to the list. You'll have a form to fill in at every hotel, and it'll make your life and everyone elses so much easier if you have your own pen.

A sheet of paper, with your user name/real name and mobile number, and if you have a GPS written on it. These will be passed amongst everyone when we're on the train, who'll then add their own names number etc etc, so at the end everyone will have everyone elses number etc.

A camel back or something similier is also very useful.

Moroccon money is available at the border . You'll need some as most of the petrol stations don't take plastic.

I'll have some spares with me

Hi Steptoe,
I've been watching this thread for a while now and also dont like to make plans which always seem to go wrong anyway.

Anyway I have finally booked myself on the 7am Speedferry dover to Boulogne which should see me in the service area (from a previous post) by about 9.45.

I dont know if you really need to know this but thought I'd drop you a line so you can estimate numbers etc etc.

I will be leaving Southampton by about 4am so anyone heading the same way can make their way up with me.

Packed, loaded, turn off gas/water, money in pocket, i-pod in the other, passport, wet wipes, one pair of underpants ( in case the ones i'm wearing get dirty), same for socks .
