He does now! He's just been round my house and sure enough one of my coils is knackered.
So does anyone local have a spare ignition coil stick for a 53 r1150gs I need one for Sunday?
Not holding my breath about Clark's or Benhams having one in stock but will try tomorrow.

Moose to the rescue! He gave me a spare coil to get me mobile again when as predicted neither Clark's or Benham had one in stock. Bobble had also offered to lend me one. I'm getting a bit misty as I type this.......thanks guys.

Thanks for booking me a slot with Steptoe for the 10/4/10. Sorry mate I’m going to have to cancel had a phone call from the Mrs we got to go up north that weekend to get her car out of winter store. So had to go down Clarks yesterday afternoon to book it in to get the work done. I’m sure you will find a lucky Tosser to fill my place. Sorry again to mess you about.

hi if theres any chance i could take marks slot that would be great ,if not no worries . general check over really brought the bike 12months ago and just ridden it , so health check and a chat with you guys and steptoe to see what needs doing . Thanx

Chris now I'm up and running again I would like Neil to do Valve settings, End floats and TB's please. THought this may be helpful for planning timings.

No problem Zach. I'll do all the timings over the next couple of days.
Here is a list for St Eptoe's day on Saturday 10th April. Hopefully Neil will be able to start at around 8-30 and work until 5 or 6 which is a long day. I've estimated that Neil will take around 45 minutes per bike because most are just straightforwrd check overs.

There are tea and water machines on site but unfortunately no butty bar so it would be wise for your better half to make a nice packed lunch and make sure you bring an apple for the teacher
As before, you need to bring your own fluids and filters. Neil will probably bring along a few odds and sods like plugs but he doesn't carry all spares. he will bring his skill, humour and big hammer, sorry, I meant toolbox
Please pay Neil directly for the work you want doing. We don't have a credit card machine so cash only
Also, don't forget the £20 per bike which goes toward the facilities we are using and to the British Superstock race team we run from there. It will buy us a back tyre for Oulton Park so every little helps

I won't have any starter motor parts with me. And if it all falls apart on disassembley you'll have a bike that won't start and i'm going home at the end of the day, whatever.
