Ok so I have sold my GSA and bought a K1600gtl

I want to install my Autocom and link it to the bikes inbuilt stereo and usb ipod option.

1- We are ignoring bluetooth here

Question. I want to tap straight off the bikes speakers with an input to the autocom, this will put both the bikes radio and usb and satnav straight through the autocom with an option on the handlebars to adjust the volume.

So I am going to buy a cable with rca plugs one end and 3.5mm phono the other for the autocom cut off the rca plugs and tap the speakers. Can I get away with a 2 plug rca cable and connect the plus to one speaker and the minus to another or have i got to go for the 4 rca option?

Pitfalls or advice from those with finer knowledge more than welcome..

I would buy Autocom part 2258 - in fact I would ride to the factory just outside Cambridge and have them fit it for me.

If your going from speakers you will have to convert the audio back down to line level or you will blow the amp in the Autocom :rob
