I am servicing my recently acquired Twin Cam and the main stick coils coils wrench very difficult to remove. I believe it could be the first time they have been removed as the bike has only done 13,000 miles.

I used the correct tool to remove them but, even then, managed to chip away some of the plastic shoulder because they were so tight.

Is there a rubber lubricant available that will stand the high temperature? Or another way to stop the stick sticking?

A light smear of red rubber grease might do it. I think it usually has an operating temp up to 120 degees C.

Thank you both. I have some silicone grease so I'll try that.
