stick with 1150 GS or ...?

Ok, I'm happy with my 1150 GS but have now heard so much positive stuff about the 1200 GS that I'm considering a test ride . Wondering whether - if I like it - I should swap now, where my 1150 is still worth some money (39k miles/W reg, full luggage, ...). I commute on the bike every day on country roads, the occasional continental trip (recently 2800 miles), sunshine and foul weather rider.

Anyone who has swapped their GSs any comments?

I have a 1150GS and got a 12GS for the weekend from my local dealer and although its a very capable bike it wasn't for me, I found it to light and it felt small after the 1150GS but I am a big lad, the 12GS may suit you.

Best thing is to get a test drive and try and book it for as long as you can a 20min ride is not going to tell you anything.

I bought a 1200 in January but kept my 1150. They are both great bikes but SOOOO different.

Get a really long test drive before you decide which one is best for you.
