Can anyone help? I took the front wheel out yesterday, when I put it back there seemed to be some resistance, from I think the calipers. ie the calipers seem to be sticking slightly. I have pumped the brakes to re-bed the pads but it still seems to be more resistance than I would have thought.

I am lothed to run the bike down the road as it might fry the brakes. Am I parinoid or have I done something wrong.

Thanks
Andrew

P.S the bikes an 02 1150 GS with ABS but non servo

Resistance is futile, you will be assimulated.

try taking the calipers of and just check they are both working correctly, pad twisted slightly etc. probably something silly.

Did you take the wheel out to fit new pads ?? or some thing else...??
There was probably resistance there before you removed it.
Check you have'nt over tightened the spindle lock nut, also did you regrease it (spindle) on reassembly ?
Check the pads are not sticking... not sitting on the skew on the securing pins.
Or your just Paranoid..

Could just be a bit of crap in between the pads and disk, get this now and then with the wet weather, wash the bike of, spin the wheel before I put it away, sorts the problem.
