For the last few cold mornings I've been running in to a problem with my starter. It will turn over the engine okay usually but once the engine's started it sounds like the starter isn't disengaging for a few seconds after the engine has started.
Yesterday I got the bike started (hadn't been run in a while) and stalled it, When I tried to re-start it I found the starter would engage but after a couple of turns it sounded like the starter disengaged. Eventually it got going and all was well.
I don't get this problem when the bike's warmed up a bit.
Guessing it's the starter, how easy is it to remove? I'm guessing that the engagement cog needs greasing or something.
