Stikcers for R12GS handgrips

Mine came today but dont know if i can be arsed to put em on, spose its better than being recalled to the main dealer n wasting a couple of hours while they do it !!

In response to Whatton, I suggest you browse the forum so you might become familiar with fuel pump failures, EWS failures, final drive failures etc. etc. Not everyone gets these of course, but the numbers who do are more than coincidental.
 
Got mine. If I don't apply the stickers as instructed and slot the new page into the manual will my warranty be void? :nenau
 
Got mine yesterday too, straight in the bin. This winds me up so much that BuMW are wasting so much money on this non-issue, yet doing **** all and burying their heads in the sand over the FPC problems!

you spent that much time on here to get a post count like that you might be aware of a couple of things:augie:D


p.s.should be soon time for final drive #4:rolleyes:after all i done nearly 35k on the "Panzer":D:D
 
My stickers & instructions arrived this morning.
I may put them on eBay & see if anyone bids! :eek

I got the same today through the mail: Postmistress didn't look too happy delivering them, the 'evil woman'. I was thinking of throwing them away, but 'I can't get it out of my head'. I guess I'll have to 'hold on tight' to the handlebars whilst fitting the stickers, that ABS uses some kind of 'strange magic', its almost like a 'living thing'.
 
Got mine today but not fitted.
Hand guards are one of the few places that don't corrode so why cover them in stickers.
Why not send us some big ones for covering the bubbled up paint? :augie

Yep got mine in the post today, should I fit them or not? mmmmmm not sure, on the one hand anyone with an ounce of sense won't need the bloody things at all. or on the other, do we watch out for those that do fit em, then post letters on here about a bike spotted with the stickers applied and take the pish, who gives a toss anyway.

It's important that you align them so they don't go "higher and higher"
