. . . . to go for a ride :D

Another run into the hills found me just west of Tomatin, wandering around near some wind turbines on the 650 Dakar . . .

If you look really closely you can just make out the hills in the far distance – the ones with snow on them

On several occasions on the above little road I rounded a bend only to be confronted with a sheet of ice. Buttock-seat gripping mechanism came into play BIG time, I can tell you
Growing fond of this little thumper. Certainly pushes my buttons better than the two F650 Fuduros that I’ve had in the past.
Now, how do I tell youngest son that he’s not getting it ;) :thumb?

Braver than me: Waited 'til it was +2 before I washed the bike and car...

Just been out around the farm on the Quad bike and my nuts are just starting to thaw out. I've no heated grips on that beastie either!

You can get some great riding at this time of year though as long as you 'gan cannie' on the greasy roads! Which isn't too much of a problem on a 4x4 Honda Fourtrax 420:thumb

Good run out on the trail bikes today wee bit fresh:eek but really good day out ain,t done it for a while!!!! get,s yer grey cells (or whit,s left of them :beerjug: ) working
