My 2015 GS has over 60000 miles on it but still drives great, I’ve invested a lot in it over the last 8 years including touratech suspension, samco hoses, hyperpro steering damper, full akro system, remap etc etc the list goes on but I want something lighter but stay with the brand. I had a short test ride on a stock one but not one with the enduro pack suspension, (I like to ride off road) doesn’t seem to be any available to test ride with that set up. Is there a massive difference as I thought the stock one road well on the road? For those who’ve got one of these 900’s what’s not to like about them? My other concern is range, I get 220+ out of the 1200, I can live with 200 but not say 150.

Think out of the box.
Voge 900, same bike half the money.

Not for me, don’t like the looks, don’t want all that luggage either. Have considered the aprilia Tuareg though
I believe it doesn’t come with luggage now, it’s cheaper instead.

Not a GS but the same engine but I'm sure I get over 200miles out of my F900XR, keep to sensible speeds and 65mpg is quite easy if that helps

I think they have a bigger tank that the GS
I’ve got both a 900XR and a 900GS - the XR does have a bigger tank. I can get 200-220 miles a tank on the XR and around 180-200 on the GS. I’ve just discovered however that for some reason my GS (ex BMW staff bike), is fitted with a 47 tooth rear sprocket, instead of the standard 44 tooth. I’m getting it changed back to 44 and would expect that to have some effect, maybe pushing the range up to 190-210 miles.

I have one and love it! It light and handles really well. It will seem a lot more sprightly than a GS boxer. There's nothing that I dont like about it.
