Hi all,

We had 2 thieves come into see us yesterday and steal 6 x pairs of heated gloves & 1 x Hiplok D Lock

If anyone see's any of this gear going cheap anywhere, please notify us so we can try and get these caught

If you wouldn't mind sharing our post to get their faces known that'd be really appreciated. Thank you!

The other 3 heated gloves they stole... they only got one of the gloves - we still have the others.
 
Hope you got the Reg number of car parked outside.

That will be to keep their hands warm whilst they are out robbing cable

We didn't, they parked quite far away from what we can tell, they've already stolen from 3 other motorcycle retailers we're aware of in the past year so this isn't their first rodeo. Not been caught either time from what we're aware.

We've got plenty of single handed gloves for sale, we've collected around 100 or so over the years where we've lost the other hands to them.... We'll sell them half price too if anyones interested!

Sorry to hear MotoCentral. I like your store and have previously driven quite a distance to come and see you. Keep going!
 
BMW -NOG suffered the same kind of theft. Everything is chained down now, one glove, one boot. Motolegeds you can't even walk in, server always with you.

Really never had that experience there, been in the shop many a time on my own, do you look iffy? motolegends I'm referring to

Motolegends...too profitable to even need opening on a weekend when most working folk can actually get there. Good service but a tad overpriced and very selective in their lines so no real competition to outprice.

Because they don’t sell tat.
And they’ll pricebeat anything else in UK by ten percent . How is that overpriced ?
Best customer service I’ve ever had.
 
Tat, by their own reviews...they seldom sell lines that other retailers do, hence avoiding a lot of price comparisons. They re badge a lot to a different items so avoid the price comparison. They do provide a good level of service, but they are not cheap, by normal persons standards, cos they only sell premium items, (which others cant afford to sell from convenient locations). Try buying a pair of gloves when you have to go there between 9 - 5 Monday to Friday...But as stated above, there are plenty folk that can afford to get there in the week. Clearly not your intro biker either. Not helping us keeping biking alive though is it..

I don’t believe you just walked in.
Since COVID they have the front door locked. If servers are busy you can have a coffee in the caravan. Once someone is free they come and fetch you. Great service and system. Plus is good security.
I mean every Tom Dick and Harry touching stuff. Plus a personal service.
On W/E they have special deals of up to 50% off on line.

Try buying a pair of gloves when you live on an island and it’s a £200 one way plane ride to even get to the UK.
Check out their Sunday sales.
I recently bought a Goretex laminate suit off them for just over £500 and it’s fabulous.
Places like Motolegends are successful, despite the average Brit biker . Wonder never cease.

Been plenty of times since covid,
Rang buzzer and let in,can I see this or that and off they go leaving me in the shop on my own.
