Having read about the clocks that were going missing on the site I was a little nervous about leaving the GSA. I wasn't too keen on the Cymarc solution so made up a bracket to stop anyone getting easy access to the single circlip that secures the clocks.
It might at least slow any potential thieves down. Just thought I'd share it with the Forum.

Nice job! Maybe security fasteners would add another layer of hassle for the light-fingered? I presume you had to drill the holes? Are they tapped or did you use a self-tapping screw? Sometimes the simple ideas are the best. :beerjug::beerjug:

I've just used self tappers into drilled holes. The bracket is covered by the small lower screen and then the big screen so it is barely noticeable. It is true that there are only 4 screws to undo to get at it but that is true for a lot of the bike and the idea was just to stop the chancers that were flicking off the circlip and taking the clocks. As to being cheap it was a spare length of brass so cost only my time and as to looking cheap. well maybe but you would not even no it was there.

Like the idea.
Why not use pop rivets, the tea leaf would hardly carry a drill to drill them out. Also they would be lower profile than screws.
