After lots of cleaning the r/h crankcase can be assembled
New main bearing shells are in and the oil pickups

Old shells were a bit grim

Next is the camshaft and camchains,with new tensioner and guide blades

Mikeys teasing us with little snippets of progress, but hell i’m not complaining, loving every morsel of this thread. Keep looking at my old 850 and thinking about getting it refreshed in a similar manner. Keep it coming Mikey

Finally got new dowels for the crankcases,
The old ones needed to come out when the cases went for blasting and powder as I didn’t want blast media jammed behind them.
The dowels didn’t want to come out
So the bottom end is back together.
