Its a wild morning here already,no rain yet but when it does start it'l not be good.

Good job i don't get depressed with the weather as i think its going to be a loooooong winter.
Hope you have got your winter tyres ordered as i bet there will be a shortage of them again when the snow does come.

12 deg C, fair and calm, here on the Forth estuary. Set of alloys with winter tyres to fit SWMBO's AWD VW Tiguan sitting in the garage ready to go on when the temperatures drop below a consistent 7 deg C. New tow rope in the boot. Bought a new snow shovel last week as well - never been so organised - just need to get the leak in the shed roof fixed now and we'll be sorted.

I bought a snow shovel in june:blast But it was cheap:D.

I know last year when the snow did come no tyre dealers in this area had any winter tyres for cars or 4x4.

I think you have done the right thing, remember the old scout motto:blagblah

Is that unusual?

Still, never mind, Angola will be feckin tremendous tomorrow - Oh joy - another West African excursion for me.

Boatman / Si - According to Stephen at Motorrad Central (God Bless their demise) you're trying to 'out Bling' me on the 1200 stakes! Can't be having that wee man. We need to talk!

I think that Southern Ireland got the worst of it this time. I can't remember ever seeing a news item about flooding over there. Mind I'm not a mad keen news watcher.

P.S. Summer was in April this year.

.

P.S. Summer was in April this year.

Seems to be the pattern ,the last couple of years April-May are good then wet and unsettled through the so called summer months.

You have to make the most of any decent days as they are getting to be few and far between.
