three weeks ago i sold the prilla rxv and bought a 1200 bandit as i thought it would make a nice commuter bike. I've ridden the bike for a couple of weeks now and find the thing a proper headbangers tool. 4k on the tack and the vibes are making my hands go blue, ride throu the vibes and your the rong side of 90mph, so the other day i borrowed a 52 plate fireblade rr3, bugger me if its not an easyer bike to ride at normal speed, 5k on the tack and not a vibe in sight and a nice sedate 83mph. the bit i'm finding hard is convincing those around me that I go slower on the blade and its a far more sensible roadbike than the bandit. today on the way home it pissed it down and ok its got about as much weather protection as net umbrella but i felt at ease with it and didn't feel i'd loose it on the first roundabout unlike the bandit. very strange:o Honda have made a bike that is useable like a commuter but looks like a race bike. i've no doubt that if you gave it a fist full it would fly but it doesnt make you do it like the mad old bandit. Has anyone else had experiance of sheep in wolfs clothing.
