It's the tyres. As you crank it into a corner, you get on to the knobbly bits on the outside and it sends a vibration through the pegs (and one you can sometimes hear). Ride my 1200 if you want - it's exactly the same.
Have you got a pass-out from VD, BTW?

The tyre thing does make perfect sense, I can see how it happens and I want to believe.. But it really bothers me that in 9000+ miles on Tourances it's the first time I've noticed it.
Maybe I'm just having a crisis of perception.. I'm worrying about a feeling I've got and hence making it feel worse to myself.
Gah! I don't know whether I need a mechanic or a psychologist.
