Strata Florida Still A Bit Wet !

Went out for a ride on sunday down to Wales...Lovely warm dry day so i thought i would give the splashes a go...The mountain road to the start is good fun to

It was nice and dry in places

But a river crosses the track a few times and that was far from dry

Still a nice hot day so wet feets not the end of the world...

This section was fairly interesting...certainly removed the dust

i have not rode it for a while and had forgot aswell as being wet it's also a bit rough..But the old girl was coping well

Pitty i was on my own and could not take any pics of the river crossings because there were no points for style on a couple But i was having a right good time

Near the end now but still some interesting ruts

All in all a good day out

Looks dry here but the water was half way up the pots a couple of times It was also a bit boggy in places but alls well that ends well...and i certainly had a big smile on my face all the way home

That looks like a lot of fun Mouse and I are going up the Strata Florida this weekend so its nice to be forewarned what to expect!

Where exactly is that road i.e. start/end point? Is it straight forward to follow? Are we to expect land owners or farmers to approach us with guns when met? How far is it? How about riding two up?

Sorry for the questions but it looks tempting. Looks good for a mountain bike ride too.
