StreetPilot 111 parts.

Hey Peoples,

On the 6th of July I had a bad off on the bike whilst touring Scotland.
The bike is a wreck, I (and G/F) have a broken right ankle and it hurts.
Okay, enough sympathy,,,

During the off my GPS got knocked off its mount.
So, anybody know if I can get the part that tilts and swivels the unit on my SP111. I have the part that clips onto the back of the unit,,What's missing is the part that goes into the "beanbag" mount or "oval plate.".

Any help will be appreciated.G/F says I ought to 'phone Garmin,,or GPSW where I had the kit from.

I'd be looking at the Ram mount site, see it on the left in the opening screen...

Hi Bin.

The Ram site was a bit difficult to get thru.
I tried several Wizards to find the part but ALL of them went blank after putting model of bike in!!(Mines a Pan)

There were various mounts available but the part I want is the one that clips onto the back of the GPS unit and allows the unit to tilt or swivel thru 360 degrees.That part THEN goes onto the "Bean bag" mount or the oval shaped plastic bit.

The cradle and beanbag are Garmin parts,

The beanbag mount is 010-10306-00 http://www.gpsw.co.uk/details/prod495.html and the cradle (auto bracket replacement) is 010-10304-00 http://www.gpsw.co.uk/details/prod838.html this then attaches on a RAM round based and is part of the dedicated bike mount, RAM-B149Z-G1 (or RAM-B-174-G1 for a PAN ST11xx) which uses either a BEC01 (bare wire end for a PAN) or CLC01B (with BMW plug) power lead.

The cradle is the part I need .I will get one to order from Gpsw.
As mentioned earlier I am at home suffering a broken ankle.
Monies for bills and food come first.Then I got to get another bike.:eyesdown
