Has anyone used this independent BMW specialist, and if so, would you recommend them?

BMW main dealer servicing prices are starting to grate............... Seems to be a lot of money for what they do....... IMHO.

Yes I have and yes I would. Mike is a very experienced BMW mechanic and can deal with most bikes.

Mike and Tim are ex BVM if you ever used them in the past.

I used to get me boxer engines valve clearances checked there and abs brakes bled (don't have a boxer anymore) and the bike never ran smoother once it had been to Mike.

I'll be taking my K to him once the BMW warranty runs out.

Do a search on the forum - plenty of people post their experiences and I don't remember anything negative being said.

Ive used them, first class service. A pair of decent honest guys IMHO.

I've heard good things about BVM before they went tits up in the past, so these guys should be trustworthy.

My warranty is up 2nd March...... Just wondering whether to pay for the extension as it's £386.75 plus a £100 excess for each claim.

I bought a K1200 GT from BVM about 10 yrs ago, I remember they were very good to deal with....

I've dealt with Tim several times previously and would have no problem recommending him. He strikes me as being a decent honest and genuine man.
