I really struggle with my helmet misting up once the weather gets anything less than tropical.
I have a Schuberth C2 and an Arai Tour X.
The Tour X steams up when I look at it and despite Fog City/Foggy Respro etc after August it is put away for the Winter.
My C2 lasts slightly longer and I have bought visor with a pinlock fitted. However now I am really struggling and my visor is misting so badly that I am getting condensation on the inside of the pinlock! I have to ride at all speeds with the visor partly open to avoid major misting.
I have already seen a few reports of misting on the Shoei multitech and so am wary about getting one.
I am considering where to go next and wondered if anyone had any experience of the BMW System 5 (as i quite fancy a flip up) and in particular whether anyone has any experience of the double glazed visor for the system 5? Comfort is obviously vital but I can try one on at my dealer but peoples experience regarding misting etc would be really useful,.
I'm beginning to get quite "steamed up" about this one so I would be very grateful if you could share your system 5 experiences with me.
Thanks
Dave
