Our local rolling road have a machine shop where they can fab up stainless pipework for exhausts, there must be a few similar places in NI that would do similar.

Had mine made up from a standard piece of stainless at a local fabricators then painted it black....

I got a local exhaust fabricator here in Newry to make me one from stainless steel. £10. :thumb2

Mine is almost identical to this one. Pic posted originally by Stowei.

I also have a full sized pannier from an RT on the nearside the same as this. I think this is a pic of CoolCarbons bike.

I live in Loughbrickland and will be about this weekend so if you would like to hear it running give me a ring and we can arrange to meet up. My number is above my avatar. :thumb2

Thanks for the offer Aidan,
Cant make it out at present still doing my "SE conversion project". Ive got the adventure seat conversion done, (thanks to Vern) and the paint job completed and all parts and stickers fitted, bar the seat. Its away getting recovered in the SE blue and grey livery (thanks to Les Wassell)
Its in the post now, so god knows how long ill have to wait. Im going to post the piccies when it arrives and i get it fitted. Bike looks real good so far, IMHO ( for what that's worth)
Really like the SE look although im still a GS virgin. Only had her a few months and have fitted Conti trail attacks, which are fantastic so far, ( only done a few hundred mile on them ) Thanks again to this forum for everyone's help in selecting the best bits and bobs to fit, technical help and for your info on the pipe. Will get something sorted this weekend for the stubby pipe and keep you posted.
Cheers Aidan :beerjug:

Get in touch with someone like Scorpion exhausts & ask for a link pipe. Most if not all cans are the same it`s just the link pipe that differs :thumb then cut to the desired angle :D

Am I imagining this or wot?

I'm down in Millbay! Where You at???

Anywhere south of the Lough Rd, Reids Rd Boundary and you'll have to change the location!

South of the Border you're gonna be a Ballystrudder Boy :augie:augie:augie:augie

Ah Beemer! youve caught me out,:thumb im just a 7 year blow-in.
Ive had this argument before, my address is Islandmagee you see, but as you say not recognised south of Reids rd. Im at Middleton pk. (newish development) on the YES! Ballystudder Road.
Hey its no. 15 call in some time and see my project "SE counterfit"
Just got the seat back and fitted so looks like an SE. White with adventure rear end, and blue grey seat.
Pictures of the project will be posted over the weekend.
See You soon,
Cheers
Ron.
PS what you gonna do when the Mill closes? you'll have to come off the "Island" sometime.
