Just a suggestion Gary .. soak your exhaust clamp with penetrating oil or WD40 for a day or so

Sent cheque on Monday, Stubby arrived Wednesday [Excellent Delivery] fitted it today and went for a 50 mile blast. I was concerned that there may be a drop in torque due to re-fitting the cat after running with a y piece and standard can for nearly three years.
But no - still pulls like a train and the sound is certainly not offensive.
Now where can I get a full sized left system pannier? just like the other 20 odd folk that have now got stubbys.

Sean, not tried to fit a stubby on an 100GS.. best thing would be to ask one of those in the know HERE

Seems like you've had a good run out of them Bryn,I'm surprised no-one has asked for a 1200 version yet (or did I miss it) I'm happy with my Remus can for now and don't think I'll be giving up the Remus headers in a hurry-so no use to me but I'd guess there would be plenty of takers-and then there's the 800 version to develop................

Considering I wanted one for myself I haven't done too bad

problem with the 1200 version is there'd be two bends as the cat exits at an angle... don't think I haven't given it a bit of thought

John, every one is slightly different on the fit..some are as tight as a nuns...some a bit looser .. pack it out with a bit of the aluminium foil provided... it also helps to use a bit of exhaust paste...
