Having had a recent slide down the road on a roundabout diesil spill I belatedly decided to fit some wunderlich crash bars. After a frustrating hour I finally managed to get the front preformed bars around the cylinder heads and started to bolt it together. The side bars bolt to the 10mm hex bolts by the centre stand. The left one eventually loosened after a few thwacks with a hammer on the hex key but the right one by the side stand just won't move at all. Just this one bolt to go and the bars are on!

There didn't seem to be any locktite on the thread of the left hand bolt. Anyone any ideas about how to ge this bolt to shift?

Have you tried heating the surrounding metal to expand it ? Little by little is the trick - don't blow torch it for 5 minutes - just a little then try and move it - then again: this may help to break the bond on the threads and if there is any loctite in there it should loosen.

Thanks for the advice guys. I'll try it out on the weekend. I haven't got a blow torch but I have got a a heat gun so that might do the trick. Maybe a steel tube as well to increase leaverage?

If you increase the leverage make sure your socket is a perfect fit or you'll just round of the bolt.

A heat gun should be fine (you mean a heat gun for removing paint I guess)

Why not spray on some wd40 today for good measure...

A heat gun is a good way to go, try to heat it up evenly, and a little at a time then try, if it doesnt move apply a little more heat.
