Hi Everyone,
I downloaded Garmins 2010 maps to my Zumo 550 recently, now when I put in a route when I'm out on the bike, such as a postcode to get me somewhere, the Zumo finds the address, I click 'Go' but then the Zumo says 'Searching for Sattelites' for ages.
The first time this happened I thought nothing was wrong, but then after ten minuites (actual ten mins) it was still searching. I pressed the menu key, then a second later the Zumo went 'bong' and started the route, as it had found the sattelites.
I thought this was a coincidence with me pressing Menu, but it does it every time now;
whenever I put in an address or waypoint it will 'search for sattelites' for any length of time from ten seconds up to ten minuites, at which point I get
impatient and press menu, then it finds the sattelites in a flash. To clarify, if I press Menu at any time whilst it is searching and it seems to find the sattelites.
I have used the Webupdater to check that the Zumo has the latest firmware and it does.
Any ideas welcome
