Me too, picked up my new (to me) 1250 GS today - was awake from 03:30 this morning.
Wasn't sure what to expect after the Euro 4 1200, but it is stunning in the way it pulls in pretty much any gear - ok, it won't win a drag against a KTM 1290, but plenty quick and flexible enough for me.

Happy days, and congrats on your new bike. Its a big improvement over my last one (2013 GSA none LC) and im looking forward to getting some miles under my belt.
Had an early LC and was very happy, that was stolen and bought a Euro 4 bike and was happier, then I was punted off and bought the 1250. Couldn't be happier.
