Substitute..?

A while back I test rode The Other Paul’s Sport 1200 2V and loved it. Two years of looking for one and still no success. At the MotoGiro d’Italia two weeks ago I test rode a friend’s V65, 2V, and again loved the ride. Patience not being a core strength, I now find myself with one on my drive… despite the warnings from our resident Guzzi expert not to… It does ride well, sounds great and is much lighter than the California so, in theory, as I get older, a sensible decision... Time will tell…

Lovely! There is something so nice about the tank shape of Guzzis from this era.

Lovely Zorro - glad you finally got something to scratch the itch for a new-to-you Guzzi. I rode a V50 decades ago and remember it to be a pleasant thing to get around on. Hope you eventually find a decent V1200 Sport too - they are lots of fun
