Hi One and All

Does anyone know if there is a suction mount that the 2610 will fit straight on to?

If so, where from?

I've looked, but it helps if you know what you are looking for and to put the right "search" wording in

Does anyone know if there is a suction mount that the 2610 will fit straight on to?

> The RAM plastic cradle is a RAM-HOL-GA9 (look at www.ram-mount-uk.com) there's several mount options such as; RAM-B-148, RAP-224-105 or make your own using a RAP-224-1 plus diamond to diamond snap link, RAP-SB -192 plus the GA9 cradle.

> Or, if using the Garmin cradle that came with your 2610, then you can attach a RAM-B-202-G1 which attaches onto the rear of the Garmin cradle, then you have a single choice of suction cup, RAM-B-148. This can be ordered as RAM-B-148-G1 thru GPS Warehouse.

Unsure where your attaching to ?, if its the sidecar and bike windshield, then have slight concern towards curvature of windshield. I have found suction cups work better on glass than perspex. Let me know if you need more help after Xmas hols.

Cheers !

Thanks RAM-man

I am probably going to use a Migsel mount on the bike, so I'll need all the bits to attach the 2610 to that, and I think I was hoping that I could use the same bits to attach it to a suction mount that would go in the sidecar (depending on the size of the sticker bit, although there is a fair expanse of fibreglass for it to go on).

Does all that make sense? If so I would appreciate any guidance (pun intended :D ) that you can give. Also if it is easier, you can email me at: grumpy-lee "at" ntlworld.com rather than posting on the forum all the time.

Thanks, Lee

I use a 5 inch RAM arm with a suction cup for my GPSmap 276C in the car.

You need a really smooth surface (read; glass only) and vibes will cause it to slide.
