Has anyone had the same issue with their new zumo 660. As i have spent 10 hrs on the phone to "chocolate fireguard" Garmin with problems with my new unit ( i say new its a refurbished unit , but sold a new) as the unit has had the following.
Turns itself off at different times
Take ages to load
If you want to preview a custom route it take 5 mins to see it on the screen-if it does not freeze or turn off first.
Garmin say well let us get back to you we are sure its not the unit (bollox)
Added to the problem is that they say there may well be an issue with the mapping as some routes were done in 2008 mapping and putting them on to a unit with 2010 mapping will create problems - well i decided to re do the routes in 2010 mapping and send them to my old and battered 2008 zumo 550 - guess what all works perfect in fact will preview routes in 5 seconds --------------------------ramble ramble
