Suitable carbs

Hello

I am looking for some carbs for my R100r and spotted these.

40mm Bings so thats good but he says not suitable for paralever ......

Is this true and why ?

The para lever machines have a unique carb that supposedly gives improved torque. The slides also have longer needles to compensate for an o ring that sits under the top of the slide. You can run other 40mm carbs though, just make sure they have the later choke mechanism from the 81-84 machines.

The seller is selling an 83 engine too so the carbs seem to be the right year

I think Ill try them if the price is right
