Summer Bike Shoes

Pain in my diddies with the price of bike boots/shoes. Need a shoe as opposed to a boot for summer riding. Robust,subtle and has to be breathable, doesnt have to be waterproof. Spent too many years touring Europe in the summer with big awkward hot hard leather bike boots. Looked at Hein Gericke and BMW summer shoes - bloddy expensive and too rigid. Presently trying to find a non motorbike specific slip on shoe (I'm lazy I tells ya). N E 1 cracked this yet ?

Try www.wiggle.co.uk have a huge range of cycling shoes I use a pair of specialist ones for some summer riding and cycling. They have all sorts of outdoor gear too.

When I go touring to hotter climes I use my goretex ankle high walking boots and I pack one pair of deck shoes. Job done
