Morning Guys

I am looking for some advice on summer clothing. I commute from kent to London each day but just want a jacket and some trousers to use during the hot months that i hope we have. I have used leather jackets in the past but these are often heavy and cumbersome, I have also used draggin jeans in the past. Any opinions would be appreciated.

Hein Gericke Air range is not bad and they're still selling the old range off cheap in their shops - £49 for the jacket. Has mesh and vents - off course won't stop a single raindrop so you'll need a set of waterproofs handy for our british summer....:augie

I think the weather in the UK is too variable not to wear waterproof jacket & trousers all the year round, especially if you're commuting and not just going out on sunny Sundays.

So waterproof textile jacket & trousers, with a removable inner and not too expensive either, because then you can use if for a year or two and then bin it, as it's the velcro / zips / press studs that don't last in my experience.

I've got a leather jacket, which rarely gets used.

An oversized BMW goretex jacket (bought second hand) where it's loose it doesn't get too hot.

hein Gericke (sheltex? jacket), good fit, but I'd burn wearing this on a hot day.

Joe Rocket mesh jacket that comes with a waterproof liner. Minimum temp. I wear this at is about 18C, but on those 30c plus days, it's a godsend.

i don't really think that there are jacket & trousers for all occassions, there again, how deep are your pockets?

BMW goretex trousers, baggy fit, tolerable on a hot day.

Dainese goretex trousers, unknown quantity in summer.
