Just bought a pair of summer gloves, my old ones now having the lining long gone and decided to try some RST Stunt 3's. Glad I did as they're the most comfortable gloves I think I've worn, next to my old pair of Five's.

They use soft feel Goat leather on the palms with comfortable gel inserts at pressure points on the palm, just enough to take the pressure off. The backs are in aniline cow hide and for once I've found a pair with the perfect finger size and length for me large size 11 mits. A single carbon shell knuckle protector is used, plenty of vents and perforations on the finger backs for warmer weather, a slight elasticated wrist and Velcro wrist band to do them up. Got to say for the bargain price I paid from sportsbike shop, they were a bit of a find. Probably the comfiest glove I've ever tried and retain good feel whilst offering decent levels or protection. Highly recommended.

I found them really comfortable and a perfect fit for my hands. However, I had the left glove carbon knuckle guard split open on mine after about 2 years. That made me question how they would hold up in a spill. They went in the bin after that.

Good to know. I'll keep my eye on that.

Usually, RST does relatively well in MotoCAP tests. But the RST Stunt 3 glove tested poorly, including 1 out of 10 for seam burst strength:

The're double stitched in all the critical areas so I find it hard to understand how they could be any worse than my other gloves. The one thing that I don't like is the single piece knuckle protection. If anything were to tear it would be the stitching around that but the palms look ok bar impact protection although they do (unlike the test claims) have some at the base of the palms (gel or foam inserts)
