I have found that a wicking base layer with leather trousers works quite well at keeping prickly heat at bay. A skiing mate recommends merino wool but I have a pair of EDZ leggings, which are man-made fibres. http://www.edz.biz/bike/

Wow ... those are interesting numbers ... I'm 6' 5" but pretty wide with it, so a 35" inseam is complemented by a 39" waist... :judge

I still had all sorts of problems finding stuff to fit, though... until I went to Germany. Drop into a Louis Gigastore and they have kit to fit everyone from gnomes to yetis!

Not a particularly convenient answer, I know... but it worked for me! :augie

hood jeans do made to measure im pretty sure . and theyre british:D
ive just got back from spain and love kevlar jeans much better than leather or textile if your not doing high speed riding all day:thumb

Also have Revit Cayenne trousers in medium leg and i am 6ft 3 and just about right so long leg would be fine but of to France check out Esquad jeans www.esquad.fr its in English for stockists expensive but light comfy and apparently megger strong.Bought a pair in Andorra last month just as comfy as normal jeans.I paid 240 euros with the armour for the top of the range called strong.Bought a pair of Hood bike jeans last year they just do not compare, they will be on Ebay when i get round to it.Enjoy your trip.

Try Motoport

They make to measure. The kevlar is either stretch (which lets some air through), or mesh, which lets a load of air through.

This is the safest kit you can get, and it is very practical. You better hope they can make it in time. I have a Marathon Stretch kevlar suit with the quad armour and all the linings. I'm very happy, but they did make the arms too long and it is too much hassle to send it back for them to alter. Plus the thermal lining was overkill.

It's a bit like my relationship with my 12GS. I love it and still have it, but the corrosion, unreliability and dealers get up my nose.

The main point about suits is that anything else comfortable will fuse to your skin if you come off. Kevlar is the way to go.

Here is a discussion: http://www.webbikeworld.com/r3/motoport/
I also have a Aerostitch, but I only wear the Motoport.

British Motorcycle Gear Adventure Pants come in a 36-37" inseam. They're very good bits of kit and are an updated version of the original Belstaff Adventure Pants. - http://www.britishmotorcyclegear.com/mens-adventure-pants.asp
