I have searched for this honest, and cant find reference to it at all :hide

Anyone remember who supplied this fine gizmo for the 1150GS / GSA
Bottom pic needs rotating 90% to make sense but it attaches to front of sump guard to protect front of engine.

fella on advrider makes them up

kildala2000

he's in Canada though
I'm after one too if there's someone more local

Thanks for the offers of not one but two ! but only need the mounting cllips. Removed it to do oil/filter change and noticed one clip broken. Am pretty sure it was Nick Marshall I obtained mine from. The crud catcher looks very similar by the way.

It works very well, missing it as have not run without one before.
:thumb again for suggestions

You can replace the mounting clips with stainless versions from Namrick (at the bottom of the page) fairly cheaply but most local hardware places should be able to supply p-clips.

Thery are either 21 or 25mm. 21mm for crossbar I think, and 25mm for the legs

Front cover guard

Hello UKer's,

Yes, I do make the R1150 GS ADV set which includes the front cover guard. If you just need the front cover guard I will sell them as well.
e-mail me at [email protected]
Thanks,
Rick

Thanks trotsky have tried lots of hardware stores but none sold them, would have thought I was asking for some Kryptonite judging by the shaking of heads and sharp intakes of breath.
I did find some at a m/cycle hotrod makers but they were the wrong size.
In the meantime Nick Marshall has come to the rescue. :beerjug:
if I should I need more I now know what size and where to order

I know I have said before but for anyone who rides in this fillthy weather, fitting one of these plates really does work. :thumb2

Tim / Chris, I'm looking for one for my 1150 GSA, how much are they and would you consider selling me one of your spare ones.

:):)

Will these fit a std GS?

Mine is a GSA and fits onto the front of the sump guard and the crashbars. Nick Marshall supplied mine and I think he mentioned the new model just fits to the sump guard, so if you have a sump guard I think it would fit.
