Just down the road from Belvoir Castle.
Just been browsing the parts fiche to check fitting of engine bars. There seems to be two oddities. Firstly the engine bars seem to require alternative rubber bushings for the sumguard (bigger ?). Secondly, the fiche seems to show the arrangement as inner guard, rubber bushing (plus engine bar if fitted) then outer guard.

My bike is fitted as rubber bushing then inner and outer guards together.

Any ideas ?

Here is the engine guard fiche (select engine guards)

and

Here is the sump guard fiche.

Ideas welcome

Yes you do have to replace the rubber bushes with longer ones as they are used to hold the bars to the underside of your sump guard.
The micro fiche is a bad picture and the new bushes go in exactly the same place as the originals i.e. between your engine and the inner plate.
I've scanned the instruction book that's supplied with the bars for you.
Hope this helps :)
