Sump guard r1100gs

Quick question, do the rubber mounts go between the inner and outer sump guards on my r1100gs. The parts diagram seems to imply this. At the moment both sump guards are directly in contact with each other. I renewing the knackered rubber mounts so I might as well put it back together right.

I've removed mine completely.

no need for the rubbers to go 'between' all that does is make more work when you come to do an oil/filter change.

Sump guard is only necessary if you're taking the bike 'off road' over Rocks and the like. or you are obsessed about its looks.

Therer are no rubbers between the two plates. Yours is fitted correctly.
