So, added this to the stable yesterday. I am the third owner. 1953 S7 Deluxe. Box file of reciepts and in very tidy condition. Lovely looking thing chuffed to bits.

That's just amazing - I love those panniers.

I've always thought of Sunbeams as a bit mad. Why would you put one AIR COOLED cylinder BEHIND another AIR COOLED cylinder, irrespective of the (arguable) benefits re the shaft drive drive train?..........Probably just me :blast

That's one seriously lovely old bike......:thumb

A gentleman’s conveyance……gorgeous

Lovely bike. 👌🏻
Has this model the hidden cables? Seriously trick for a motorcycle of that era.

I bought one of these for £8/10/- in the late 1960’s but let my mate have it because I’d just bought an Ariel Square Four :blast

Beautiful motorcycle Montydog :thumby:

Enjoy

Dig it out and get some photographs. Get it valued and sell it on here John. I've sold several motorcycles, good watches and cameras on here with no problem :thumby:

Your post did make my head spin a little. My mate who took the Sunbeam over from me never did anything to it, for he was doing an old Rover up. It languished in their shed or garage a while and then he died suddenly. We were each others 'Best Man' some years before. His son Jonathon has been in touch with me to find more about his father for he was only young when he died. I don't know what happened to the Sunbeam, it could still be in his mothers shed for all I know!

Lovely.
Panniers will be great for carrying a New York size pizza cut into quarters!
